Not your grandmother’s needlework.

These outdoor cross-stitched tapestries, measuring 11 feet square each, form a collection of eight pieces. Created during the COVID-19 pandemic, they were intended for outdoor display, reacting to a safe way to appreciate art. The entire series, featuring floral motifs inspired by the pride flag, was showcased in July 2022. The artworks seamlessly blended with nature while maintaining their individuality. The creative process culminated with the completion of each piece and the capture of a selfie for sharing on social media.
