FLOWER CROWN: 5 completed of growing series

Inspired by women’s circles, the series hangs in a circle from the ceiling. The viewer is invited to enter the center, symbolizing a woman encircled, forging a connection with the divine feminine. Flowers serve as archetypes of women, embodying spirits that resonate with qualities such as height, boldness, brightness, and presence. The essence of these archetypes is reflected in the flowers.

Constructed from embroidery floss on pet-safe window screens suspended from the ceiling, these pieces, ranging in human size from 4 to 7 feet tall, rotate. They maintain a delicate balance of transparency and presence, allowing observers to see through them. The colors are vivid and diverse, representing both intensity and variety. The artwork displays two facets by displaying both worked sides of the fabric: the ordered and the organic. The flower images are strategically positioned to provide perspectives from behind or below, engaging the viewer in a unique visual experience.
